Square Enix has confirmed that the Xbox One exclusivity for Rise of the Tomb Raider will last but a short time, meaning it will come to PC and PlayStation 4 in 2016. The revelation it was only for Xbox One angered many fans.
Soon enough the PR machine at Square Enix and Eidos had to surrender the fact it was only a timed-exclusive. It will be made ready for Windows 10 and releasing through Steam in early 2016.
Those holding out in Camp PlayStation will have to wait much longer until Holiday 2016. It releases for Xbox One and Xbox 360 November 10th, 2015. The reason for the anger was Tomb Raider has been staunchly neutral when it comes to platforms, but suddenly was ‘exclusive’.
