EA sponsorship program Ronku has outed the start date for Battlefield Hardline’s multiplayer beta, if an email circulating YouTube stars is to be believed. A number of personalities are said to be playing it.
Their coverage is expected to go live once the multiplayer beta begins on February 3rd. Recently EA also updated the Battlefield Hardline website with some new assets, so it looks like they’re gearing up.
Ronku was set up by EA to pay YouTube video creators for their coverage of EA-published titles. Sound iffy? They’re hardly the only publisher to be doing this. YouTube is a business these days, in case you’re still holding out making videos and not taking briefcases full of cash.
YouTube ‘stars’ are recording Battlefield Hardline in action in San Francisco, according to Reddit. This new crime spin-off in the series is being handled by Visceral Games. Check out the email here.
Battlefield Hardline releases on PC March 17th in the US, 19th in Europe.
