Publisher Eurovideo Medien has announced that the English language launch of heavenly point-and-click adventure game Heaven’s Hope will be landing on Steam on February 25th. The comedic game was developed by German studio Mosaic Mask.
The protagonist is an angel, Talorel, who has crashed to Earth, and has lost his halo and wings. By coincidence, the town he lands near is the 19th century English town of Heaven’s Hope. Things in town have gotten a little strained, as the local nun - Greta - has fanatically reinstalled the Inquisition.
According to the developer, the adventure is 12-15 hours long, ”featuring mini-games, a strong, optional player-aid system that will provide valuable clues and keep gamers informed on what’s going on. All of these features combine to make Heaven’s Hope an ideal game for all audiences, from pro-adventure gamers through to those new to the genre.” The game will be fully voiced in English, with optional subtitles.
