While last month’s bonus episode was fun, it wasn’t Hitman at its best. Thankfully we’re back on track with a feature-length installments. If you’ve got Hitman installed on your gaming platform of choice, you’re likely already getting the download for the title’s fourth episode, bringing with it a new level, new mission, and all the piles of content associated.
Episode Four takes us to Bangkok, Thailand, at luxury hotel and resort. A rock band called the Class has been recording their latest track their, but their lead singer Jordan Cross has a bit of a dirty secret. The parents of his late girlfriend want him dead for her murder, and they’ve enlisted Agent 47 to do the job.
We’ve got a new level in Bangkok, with the requisite mastery levels and unlocks that go with it. You’ll build your way up to 8 starting locations, 9 agency pickups, and 6 new weapon and gear unlocks. The mission, called Club 27, brings with it 8 new opportunities, and the level has over 65 challenges to complete.
I can’t wait to dig in. This is perhaps the best Hitman has ever been, and the game’s episodic release and connected features have actually made the game’s strengths stand far stronger than a standard release could. We’ll have a full review of the latest episode this week.
