Interested in Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII? You may be happy to hear about the new types of warfare that will be available in the game.
There are five types of warfare available: open field, narrow pass, naval, duel and debates. Open field battles are large scale fights that involve organising units, if you organise your units correctly you’ll end up changing the course of battle. Narrow Pass battles involve creating a line of defence of a narrow passage, stopping enemies from getting through your wall of units. Naval battles can be used to carry out skirmishes on vast rivers or create strategic blockades. Duels allow players to fight using a turn-based system, this allows players to gain bonuses within the battle which can be useful to get an upper-hand against your opponents. Finally, there is the debate system. Debates give players the opportunity to convince their opponents to act in certain ways, this can ultimately be used to support your cause and raise support.
If you’ve never heard of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII, it’s a strategy game based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel. Players find themselves involved in an era of political instability where they will have to deal with large-scale conflict and human drama. The game is historically accurate too, if that type of thing interests you.
