DotEmu and Lizardcube have announced that Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on 18th April, although the PC version will be coming a few weeks later.
In Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap you can play as Lizard-Man, Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Lion-Man, and Hawk-Man, and must use their abilities to uncover the land’s deepest secrets. The game will be released with some really great features, like switching real-time between the original retro graphics and the modern remake’s upgraded visuals, you can even input your old Sega Master System passcode to unlock all of your old saves and progression – if you’ve still got your codes from 1989?
DotEmu didn’t give us an exact release date for the PC version, but we will at least see it a couple of weeks after the console releases.
