If you're sitting in the UK somewhere, you've probably watched - or at least heard - something about our 'darker sense of humor'. Though our comedies aren't quite as controversial as the once were, there's still a few productions by a certain someone that cement themselves as a part of British pop-culture. Up in Scotland, some of those comedies have inspired Team Junkfish to make a game vastly different from their last.
Moving on from putting out survival horror titles, Team Junkfish have announced a Late Summer 2017 release for 'Attack of the Earthlings' - a game that isn't a survival horror title yet still manages to sound like one.
This upcoming turn-based strategy game flip the usual premise of humans fighting off an alien threat around. Instead, players will wear the proverbial shoes of a insectoid alien race who's home has been threatened by humans looking for a quick buck on their outer-world expedition. Planet X13 is rife with fossil fuel reserves and it appears that even in a time where harvesting fuel out in space is both possible and a viable economic strategy, humans still haven't figured out how to rely on renewable energy sources.

Controlling the questionably named 'Swarmers', you'll be sending your brethren scuttling into vents, lockers and other-such staple hiding places to execute sneak attacks on the humans that threaten your livelihood. Able to grow your muscle mass through the absorption of human flesh, the arrival of the Galactoil crew could be seen as a god-send for bugs looking to evolve their species into a higher being. The aim? Defeat and devour upper management. Climb that pesky drill and munch on a few underpaid workers and you'll find yourself taking on the big leagues in no time.
Handled by a 10-person strong group consisting of a handful of University graduates, Team Junkfish put out Monstrum in 2015 to rave reviews. Now, their attention has turned to flipping a genre on its head. There's a trailer down below.
