Publishers Koch Media and Black Eye Games today announced their partnership for the digital release of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis. The medieval resource management game will now be published under the former’s Ravenscourt indie games-focused label.
Set in the same universe as Black Eye Game’s Gloria Victis MMO, Siege Survival follows a band of civilians as they struggle to survive inside a besieged city. While you won’t participate in the battle, you will have to lead the civilians as they scavenge for food and resources, care for the sick, and do what they can to support the soldiers keeping them alive.
“We’re delighted to be working with Koch Media. This partnership will give us access to a global market with dedicated teams in all the major territories. The work on Siege Survival: Gloria Victis was started by an external team 2 years ago, with full support and supervision of Black Eye Games,” said Black Eye Games CEO Jan Grochowski.
“Now, after successfully merging both teams and starting the partnership with Koch Media, we secured the future development of both Siege Survival and our startup project, Gloria Victis MMORPG.”
Siege Survival: Gloria Victis will also be featured during the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition, which runs between February 3 and February 9. As soon as it kicks off, players can download an updated demo that lets them experience the first days of the siege.
This involves going through tutorials for gathering, crafting, and exploration while also exploring a portion of the city. The full version’s campaign will span 30 in-game days. Siege Survival: Gloria Victis is slated to release at some point in Q2 2021 and is headed to PC, via Steam.
