Borderlands sells 2m copies worldwide, Take-Two posts Q4 loss

Gearbox has much to celebrate with the fantastic performance of their new Borderlands IP, with a sequel labelled a ”no brainer” already.

Take-Two’s fiscal news is less than cherry this Holiday, with Q4 seeing a $137.9m net loss. Total year revenue is $968m; FY09 was $1.5bn.

Of course you could say that fiscal ‘09 cheated what with having a launch of Grand Theft Auto, so a $1.54 billion haul wasn’t out of the question was it? Take-Two, with no big GTA launch, has seen a dramatic drop this year’s fiscal.

They revealed also that Spec Ops: The Line, the newly announced third-person shooter, will be arriving Q4, 2010 - which is no later than October 31st, 2011 to us. Check out the awesome debut trailer for it below. It’s coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
