President Darrell Rodriguez of LucasArts has declared the BioWare MMO to be the biggest of its kind, noting its content rivals ”more than 40 novels’ worth”.
Developer BioWare has pledged the Star Wars title will be fully voiced, and each class will have its own unique story with consequences. It’s also being localised in three languages.
Star Wars The Old Republic is ”the biggest MMO project ever developed”, said Rodriguez. BioWare’s own Ray Muzyka joined the LucasArts boss on stage, adding it packs ”more than 40 novels’ worth of content”.
El presidente went on to say they’re ”completely localising the entire game in German and French”, which means, ”Every character will have his, her or its own German, French or English voice.” A release date for Star Wars The Old Republic is clouded by the dark side for now.
