This is Capcom’s latest IP which is due out next year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It’s all sci-fi with aliens, jetpacks and the Bermuda triangle.
”As a game, Dark Void was developed with a wide-screen mentality - a world full of adventure presented in cinematic scope and scale,” said Capcom’s Germaine Gioia, reports Eurogamer.
”Plan B recognised the potential of our newest property and are as excited about bringing Dark Void to life in cinemas as Capcom is to bring the interactive experience to home theaters.” The game follows a pilot named Will who crashes in the Bermuda Triangle.
Once there he finds an alternate world where aliens are invading, those rascals, and decides to slap on a jetpack and get with the pew-pew. Capcom say it ”is being developed as a sci-fi action franchise” and ”potential starring vehicle for Brad Pitt”. Shock!
Dark Void is expected January 22nd in Europe, but there’s no table scraps on when this Brad Pitt with a jetpack movie will be hitting screens.
