Microsoft's own online retail store has Kinect pegged for $149

No Kinect pricing is expected to be unveiled until November is nearly upon us, which is the official line from Microsoft. They’ve just broken the line.

Labelling US retailers as being ”speculative” about a $149 price tag, Microsoft’s very own store now carries the exact same figure for pre-orders.

”No Kinect price announced yet, retail price estimates are purely speculative, final price & pack-in details are not yet determined,” twitters Xbox man Aaron Greenberg, although now his own side appears to have betrayed his words, reports Eurogamer.

Microsoft list on their store what you need for Kinect:

They also mention precisely what you get from the Kinect package:

■ Kinect sensor for Xbox 360

■ Power supply cable

■ User’s manual

■ Wi-Fi extension cable
