LittleBigPlanet 2 launch tops UK chart, Mass Effect 2

Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 2 has skyrocketed straight to number one in the UK charts as the PS3 exclusive is ravenously snapped up by fans.

That means COD: Black Ops plays second fiddle. Mass Effect 2 has returned to top ten glory thanks to the PS3 title. Fallout: New Vegas slips 14th.

FIFA 11 is now 4th with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood climbing to 5th. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is hanging on to 10th place, having slipped from 6th. See below for the full UK all formats chart top twenty for the week ending January 22nd.
