Bug fix for Minecraft's 1.7.3 Xbox 360 update due "sooner than a week"

Developer 4J Studios has said a bug fix for Minecraft’s 1.7.3 title update on Xbox 360 is hopefully bound for next week, but they warn ”it’s not in our control” and have to wait with everyone else.

The 1.7.3 went live in July for Xbox 360, and 1.3 on PC yesterday. The bug fix may include elements of 1.8 and 1.9 when it arrives as 4J ”may bring some things forward”.

4J Studios twittered the news: ”We’re hoping sooner than a week, but it’s not in our control - we have to wait along with everyone else.” 1.7.3 added items like pistons and new textures.
