The GAME Group has now had its securities delisted entirely from the London Stock Exchange, which is something the UK retailer chain requested last month. It has now been completed.
They applied for the delisting on the grounds that there’s ”no equity value” left. The retail chain has been saved from closure however as OpCapita bought the remaining assets.
Over 3,000 jobs have been saved as Comet-owner OpCapita, a private investment firm, had its bid accepted. Over 250 stores were closed by administrators but the rest are safe.
