Epic Games states Unreal Engine 4 will last 10 years

Epic Games has proclaimed that the fourth generation of the Unreal engine will last at least a decade; the developer worked with Intel, AMD NVIDIA and QualComm to prep the new engine, and hopes to release dev kits soon.

According to Epic, Unreal Engine 4 will “empower game designer to take charge of as much of the game production process as possible.” The engine will do more than just produce pretty graphics as well, the developer promised.

The Unreal Engine 4 engine will reputedly debut with the launch of the next generation of consoles.
