SEGA tease Castle of Illusion remake, Mega Drive classic out this summer

A 1990’s platforming champion is set to re-release this summer as SEGA air a trailer teasing a very modernised Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse. It has been spotted for XBLA before as art leaked.

The title was also listed on the Brazilian ratings board. The SEGA Mega Drive classic is certainly high up on the list of awesome platforming gems from the 16-bit era.

While not clearly stating it is Castle of Illusion, all the circumstantial evidence is there. At the end you can see a Disney copyright notice for 1990 and 2013.

The Brazilian ratings board has the SEGA remake for Xbox 360, PS3, Vita and Wii U.
