Indie Tactical RPG The Last Bastion Gets a Concept Trailer

Admittedly settling on the name shortly before Blizzard debuted the Overwatch short of the same name, KnightMayor released a 'Proof of Concept' trailer for the in-development tactical RPG, The Last Bastion. Described as "a story driven, Tactical RPG with core gameplay features inspired by the Sega Genesis classic - Warsong (Langrisser)", The Last Bastion's objectives are revealed through the ongoing combat narrative involving key, fleshed out characters rather than menus of lore you'd typically see in a tactical game.

Headed by a single ex-BioWare designer based in Texas, Rick of KnightMayor has headed out to create a game in the same vein as those he loves to play. While it's still too early to anticipate a particular release date, development blogs are actively posted on the company site. For now, there's the below 'Proof of Concept' video!
