The Blizzard Mountain Expansion To Forza Horizon 3

Depending on where you live, riding through the snow of winter can be a difficult feat. As much as people yearn for a 'White Christmas' each year, it feels like each holiday season goes by with less of that under-foot crunch than the last. But at least in the video game world, that doesn't need to be the case. Forza Horizon 3 is getting a very cold expansion next month. In a time where everyone's favorite petrol-heads have returned to our screens, sliding around a snow-capped mountain in a 2016 Ford HYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX is both a mouthful and a dream come true for car enthusiasts. Real or not, Forza Horizon 3 is arguably one of the best driving titles on the market right now; so it stands to reason the upcoming expansion will go down a treat for those wanting to drift through the white stuff without actually doing it.

Once the expansion lands on December 13 you'll gain access to more than 50 new events and challenge missions across 3 event types - Hill Climb, Descent and Blizzard. There's a snowy sports resort, frozen lake and lots of scenic spots to drive through, break at and maybe lose a race or two when the view is just too beautiful to pass up.

Though you'll only be able to grab Forza Horizon 3 through the Windows 10 Store, there's a good Steam Sale on right now.

There's 7 new cars heading into the game, each with a name seemingly longer than the last. We've listed them down below, but there isn't any images to show off just yet.

If you're currently in possession of the Forza Horizon 3 season pass, you'll be good to go on December 13. If not, you can pick up the expansion separately at a fee. If you've yet to grab the game itself, you likely have a few more hours before the Black Friday sales start to call time.
