F1 2016 is all done and dusted. Receiving one final patch in the first month of 2017, it's time to say goodbye to on-going support. Clicking to 'learn more' about this hefty patch takes you to the game's official forums within the Codemasters network. In here, we learn that this very particular problem was affecting a large amount of you from at least October last year - when the last patch appeared. Identifying the root cause, the team warned that the fix was so deeply rooted in the core of the game that they rolled the minuscule patch out in a week-long beta test first to make sure it didn't break anything else. Thankfully, it didn't. Or nothing stood out in that time, at least. The update it out for all, and the team is now fully invested in the next game. Any more problems? They'll be there forever. Want in? Go for it.
