The Self-Contained Story Of Horror Title 'COLINA:

We've already had one major stint creeping through an eerie house surrounded in gruesome mystery this year, but Chance6 Studios wants us to venture around their own in COLINA: Legacy. There's hopeful plans for a franchise, too. COLINA: Legacy is an upcoming atmospheric survival horror adventure that plays on your old childhood fears and neighbourhood antics. If you ever lived by a old, tired and potentially abandoned house or factory building, you likely heard - or started - rumors of it being a good ol' fashioned Haunted House. You hear movies and shows touch on kids venturing into these dark abodes all the time, yet Chance6 Studios want to turn that into something you can experience no matter your age.

Speaking through an interview with our own TJ Denzer Denis Santos, director of the upcoming title, mentioned how the story is a closed affair in one regard, yet a part of a greater whole in another. Speaking in regards to any existing post-release DLC plans, Denis said "DLC? Probably not. When we set out with this, we worked to create a sort of self-contained story. Alex’s story is entirely there and there’s a lot to do with it in the core game." What he means by this is that COLINA: Legacy can branch into many different routes. It's an wide-open playing field despite the narrow confines of the house. Challenges can be taken on in different orders with different eventual endings.

Despite the self-contained story, Denis goes on to mention how they've thought ahead when it comes to potential sequels. "As for sequels, it will depend on how the players feel. The lore of the COLINA world that we have built is interesting and it extends beyond this single house. We’ve talked about it, played around with ideas, and we’d love to explore this universe further, but it will depend entirely on how players respond to it." If this alone is enough to get you excited by the prospect of being scared silly, you'll likely gain a lot from the full interview over here. COLINA: Legacy is set to release at the tail-end of 2017 come December 29. Don't go expecting a first-person view, either. That's not happening.
