Just as with any big release, you probably saw your Nvidia Experience tray icon flare up to let you know of a new driver update yesterday. Given the Valentine's Day release schedule, you can likely imagine what it was for - but there's a bigger picture to be had here. With yesterday's release of For Honor following a record breaking 1.8 million PC beta testers before it, you can imagine the game isn't running perfectly for absolutely everyone. There's too many configurations.
For Honor Gets A List Of Changes Heading Into The Full Release
If you gamepad simply isn't firing up in-game, Ubisoft suggests pulling the plug on anything that isn't necessary to your immediate PC use - so cull your mouse, keyboard, dongles and, heaven forbid, your Novint Falcon and USB Christmas tree if that's an issue for you. Running into stuttering as an axe or other painful object rips into your body? They think it's tied to Bluetooth peripherals - so give that a shot.
