Regardless of how the Dragon Quest series performs in the West, Square Enix just keep giving it another shot. With Berserk and the Band of Hawk rolling out on Steam over the last few days, KOEI TECMO games set out to fill the newly formed 'Warriors' void with a second game within the Dragon Quest Heroes franchise.

The resulting title this time around is Dragon Quest Heroes 2. Missing the allure of the Electric Boogaloo tagline that should accompany any game's first numbered sequel, this one doesn't even retain something as rhythmic as the last - The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below. Being a fairly typical 'Warriors'-type affair, you'll know what to expect with this one. A story wrapped around hundreds of enemies and outposts to capture. Your two main combatants will be Razel and Teresia with a good amount of the usual Dragon Quest cast joining in Dragon Quest Warriors 2 it set to join its older sibling on Steam in just two month's time. April 25 for North America and April 28 for Europe.
