But as we inch closer to the fast-approaching official release, it's time to learn more about how DiRT 4 has changed since that surprised announcement. DiRT 4 Appears From Nowhere - As Does This Trailer And Our Own Preview Piece
'Rallycross' is the term used to name this particular sport in which multiple cars storm across mixed-surface circuits built up with both asphalt and dirt. The cars typically used in these activities are 600bhp machines capable of reaching that sought-after 0-62mph push in under 2 seconds. These short-form races involve between 4-6 laps with a 'Joker Lap' adding the need for more strategic thinking. In light of the newly announced Rallycross mode, DiRT 4 will launch with numerous others. Over 50 cars and 5 worldwide locations will play host to modes like Landrush, Joyride and DiRT Academy. Tuning, repairs and online interactions will play a major role alongside its expected Career mode. Check out the new trailer down below.
