Paradox Interactive Decides To Scare Us All With... A

Despite recently seeing a bit of backlash on their decision to up the prices of their games, Paradox Interactive joins the Steam Halloween Sale with some hefty discounts. Likely going on until around November 5, you can grab a bunch of bunch of Paradox's strategy games for single-digit monies - when we're not counting pennies, at least.

Titles like their sci-fi 4X 'Stellaris' and the staple Hearts of Iron franchise dodge this by sitting at £13.99 a pop, but Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis have dipped below £10 thanks to a generous 75% off decision. As usual, most of these games will receive expansions and free updates for a while to come, so it's not like you'd be buying into a dead game at a decent price.

For those already heavily invested in Paradox Interactive's unique breed of grand strategy, almost all the expansions for their titles are on sale, too. You can pick up the 4-month old Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor for £5.59 or Stellaris: Utopia for £11.99. But don't worry if you're not a fan of intensive turn-based strategy, either. Both Magicka and Cities: Skylines (and their copious amounts of DLC) share in the savings. Magicka is down to a mere £1.99 and is still an absolute blast with friends, while Cities: Skylines, a much more relaxing city builder, is down to a tiny £5.74. You can grab them all through Steam or the Paradox Plaza online store. Still no word on Victoria III, though. What's going on, Paradox?
