Allison Road is back on track, development continues

Allison Road is an upcoming first person survival horror game by Lilith owner Christian Kesler, although it was cancelled back in June shortly after Team 17 picked up the publishing rights. Since then Kesler has been working hard to find ways to fund the development, with an announcement made last night that he's now working under a new label called Far From Home, which has been co-founded with his wife who is also a business partner.

Two weeks ago, Lilith, the developers of Alison Road confirmed their PT-inspired horror game has been cancelled. Team 17, the publisher of Alison Road, has essentially reiterated the same statement when speaking to VG247. “After a long consideration between Lilith owner Chris Kesler and ourselves, we have reached a mutual agreement to end our collaboration on publishing Allison Road under Team17’s Games label,” Team17 said to VG247.

After the PT-inspired horror game Allison Road was recently revealed to be cancelled on Twitter, many gamers were left disappointed and unsure why the first person survival game was cancelled by Lilith Ltd and Team 17. Lilith did promise that a statement explaining everything would be issued, although it's only just come out and spoken about it today, almost two weeks since the cancellation was confirmed.

Allison Road, the first person survival horror game by Lilith Ltd has been cancelled, according to the official Allison Road Twitter account. The Twitter account has promised to supply an explanation in the next few days. "Hi all. Sadly Allison Road had to be cancelled," read the tweet. "Statement to come in the next few days. Thx for all your support and very sad it came 2 this." Lilith Ltd first introduced the game on Kickstarter back in October. Alison Road managed to raise £145,959 from 4,482 different backers, however the Kickstarter project was cancelled days later as Lilith Ltd announced Team17 decided to publish the game.
