S2 Games' action real-time strategy game Heroes of Newerth, inspired by Warcraft III and DotA, has been knocked offline by an upgrade gone wrong. File systems on both the HoN databases were destroyed during a "chassis swap" , which is "almost statistically impossible". It's "coming back up slowly."
