Ubisoft delays PS3 Splinter Cell HD trilogy to September 23rd
Publisher Ubisoft has delayed the impending Splinter Cell HD collection until late September in Europe, which was expected sometime the first half of 2011. The PS3 Blu-ray release includes the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Sadly none have their multiplayer components.
Far Cry 2 dev blasts L.A. Noire, it has "nothing original to say"
Creative director Clint Hocking of Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is less than impressed with Team Bondi and Rockstar Games' L.A. Noire. He dismisses the crime thriller as "derivative, uninspired, narcissistic" through his twitter account. He says it proves videogames can only be 'kitsch art'.
Ubisoft confirms Splinter Cell Trilogy online "won't be included"
There is no multiplayer component whatsoever included with Ubisoft's Splinter Cell HD Trilogy for PlayStation 3, confirms the publisher. That means no co-op either. Each title is based on the PC versions as they "provided the best quality." The collection of 3 Splinter Cells, bundled and individual, are due out June 17th.
