TRON RUN/r leaves early access and launches on Steam
Remember that endless runner TRON RUN/r? Disney quietly took it out of early access today and launched the final version on Steam for £14.99. TRON RUN/r is also available on PS4 via the US PlayStation Store, but the European version won't be released on that platform until 23rd February. Xbox One gamers have to wait even longer until the 1st March, according to the Xbox Store.
TRON RUN/r gets February 16th release date
The last major videogame to bear the name TRON was released way back in November 2010 with TRON: Evolution. Now, a new officially licensed game in the series, TRON RUN/r, will be leaving Steam Early Access and launching on the 16th February 2016. TRON RUN/r is a small scale title, basically a cross between Bit Runner and Sonic 3D, in which the player tries to run a cyberspace race track as fast as possible, avoiding obstacles as they go. The race will involve sprinting, wall-running, temporarily turning into a light cycle, and even gliding on wings.
TRON RUN/r unveiled at Video Game Awards, hits Steam Early Access
One of the more intriguing games that debuted at the Video Game Awards was TRON RUN/r, based on the cyberpunk franchise that was born in 1982. The game appears to be a cross between BIT Runner and Sonic the Hedgehog 3D, and is current available on Steam Early Access.
