Origin Access has been a pretty solid deal, including an increasingly wide selection of selection of full games for a reasonable subscription price. Over this summer, that selection’s set to get even bigger.

Unravel is an okay platformer with enough heart and charming visual design to make it stand out. If you happened to be a member of EA’s Origin Access subscription service, you could play the first two levels for yourself. Now, a similar trial is free for everyone.

You might remember Unravel as the positively adorable game presented by a visibly nervous developer at Electronic Arts’ 2015 E3 press conference. The game’s out in just a few days, and while we don’t yet have a review copy, we got a chance to check out part of the game through the EA Access program.

EA's trademark registraton for Unravel has been refused by US Patent Office [UPDATED]

Electronic Arts may be forced to change the title of its upcoming puzzle platformer Unravel, as the United States Patent and Trademark Office has refused its application to trademark the game. UPDATE: GameWatcher received an official response from Electronic Arts on the matter. According to the representative: "The trademark application does not impact the game title of Unravel, and we’re looking forward to the game launching on February 9.”
