Everything we know about the open-world survival crafting game Stormforge, from release date to trailers.
The fantasy survival crafting game from Roboto Games sees 1-8 players join forces to take on magical storms and dark forces in the world of Sorana.
Sorana is a vast, procedurally-generated world that features endless islands with secrets, treasures, and foes in every corner.
Sounds like it could be a co-op winner, and the cel-shaded style visuals make it stand out from the pack (even if it does riff on Breath of the Wild a bit!).
We’ll take a look at what the Stormforge release date is, what platforms it’ll be on, and more in the build-up to the game’s eventual launch.
Stormforge Release Date
While there’s currently no concrete Stormforge release date, Roboto Games has confirmed it will get a 2026 release.
Stormforge Gameplay
Stormforge is an open-world survival game for up to eight players and plays like a third-person action adventure title in combat and traversal.
The vast world of Soraana is traversable from land, sea, and sky, and is riddled with magical storms that do untold damage, but also house lucrative loot.
You’ll be able to gather magical elements from inside special storms to build better equipment and materials for surviving even stronger storms and enemies.
There’s base-building, of course, so you and your friends can build a nice community for when trouble comes your way or you just fancy having a virtual hangout.
Interestingly, community mods can be downloaded from within the game to shape your survival experience however you wish.
Stormforge Platforms, Price, and Pre-orders
Currently, Stormforge is only releasing on Steam, where you can wishlist the game and sign up to playtest early builds.
There are no pre-orders and no set price point.
