The XBLA title Castle Crashers has been experiencing connections problems despite being trialed through numerous network tests at Microsoft.
Certain real-world happenings they ”couldn’t account for,” explains Dan Paladin. They’re smashing pixel atoms to get a multiplayer patch out as soon as they can.
”When we went through testing, Microsoft approved all our network code and we had no problems at all. There are those things in real-world scenarios that we couldn’t account for,” said art director Dan Paladin to Joystiq.
”We had six-hour play sessions and nothing ever came up,” added Tom Fulp, lead programmer.
Despite this woeful setback for some the game itself was received with ”overwhelmingly positive” responses from the community says Paladin. ”It has been better than anything we expected.”
