3DAW has revealed the supernatural action adventure game Black Mountain of Tlaltecuhtli, which sees players struggling to survive inside a living mountain.
The third-person adventure puts us in the boots of a bounty hunter closing in on their target. They track them to a mountain where a secret facility is hidden inside.
Upon entering the facility, it soon becomes clear there’s something off. Reality-tearing pockets in time and space that reset, reconfigure, and overlap your existing reality.
Reality Bites Back in Black Mountain of Tlaltecuhtli
The hook here is that the mountain is a living thing, equipped with these reality-bending powers. Reality manipulation can throw up obstacles to your progress, such as rearranged hallways, vanishing paths, and reset combat encounters.
On the upside, you can turn the tables by using these shifts in reality to give you the upper hand. You’ll be able to switch dimensions between the facility and an Aztec temple to find new pathways and gain the edge in combat.
While there’s no release date just yet, you can wishlist Black Mountain of Tlaltecuhtli on Steam now.
