In a possible case of “oops, sorry boss”, a release schedule from Capcom sent to MCV shows that Resi Evil 5 will be spreading the T-Virus on to PC in March.
It also showed Street Fighter IV would be coming to PC too despite Capcom’s denials it would be. Console to PC ports are in favour with Capcom, so could it be true?
Apparently the PC version for the latest Resident Evil would arrive on March 13th, the same day as the console versions. This however is unlikely given the recent ‘open secret’ policy of publishers to release on next-gens first, and PC a little later.
”Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will hit retail shelves on Friday the 13, March 2009 in North America and Europe,” was Capcom’s only reply to probing on the matter from Shacknews.
