Hmm, that rhymed. Anyway - Pete Hines of Bethesda has told CVG that there isn’t a date set in stone for the release of their latest RPG, the post-apocalypse return of the Fallout franchise.
The rumoured September 9 date was from a list given to retailers by Sony on their PS3 software releases.
”Sept. 9 isn’t the release date. The release date is Fall 2008. Until you see something official from us on when the game will be out, take any date you see from anyone with large grains of salt,” Bethesda’s Pete Hines tells CVG.
It’s expected to be simultaneously released on PC, Xbox360 and PS3 this fall. With the incredibly hardcore following that Fallout has picked up and with the success of their last RPG Oblivion, a lot will be riding on Fallout 3 for Bethesda. Expectations are high indeed.
