The 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand video game was effectively given a death sentence as Activision decided to drop the title from their line-up.
Now it seems Swordfish Studios hard work won't have been for nothing as THQ picks up the sequel according to the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification.
Sadly the fate of the other dropped titles like Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend and The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is still unknown.
It's possible that 50 Cent could still see a release date this year in time for Christmas if all goes well. The game was originally intended to release on Xbox 360 and PS3.
