Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Kite Games today announced that Sudden Strike 5, the next installment in the long-running World War II real-time tactics series, is slated to release at some point in 2026 on both PC and consoles.
The title promises a 25-mission campaign that sees us battling it out across both Europe and North Africa. We get to control more than 300 playable historical units – including 190 vehicles and 110 infantry types – from the Western Allies, German, and Soviet rosters as Sudden Strike 5 goes all-in on large-scale warfare, boasting “the highest unit counts ever seen in the series.”

Customizable commanders bring skills that fit different playstyles, whether offensive, defensive, or tactical.
