The quietly announced first-party title for Sony’s PSN from developers Just Add Water gets a little more flavour, it’s revealed as a retro arcade shooter.
When Sony saw ‘Project V’ they ”snapped it up” says the dev team, but they can’t spill too much on the game yet. It’ll be releasing over PSN for both PS3 and PSP gamers.
”It’s first-party for Sony, so we can’t talk about it too much, but it’s a retro shooting game,” says J.A.W. boss Stewart Gilray, speaking with VG247. ”It’s for PS3 and PSP.”
”We’ve been working on it for about a year now,” he continued. ”We showed it to Sony last year and they snapped it up straight away.” Project V is expected to get a full announcement at E3 this year.
You can never have enough retro anything.
