The upcoming MMO, set in real world locations like London and New York, has just had some of its secrets spilled by developer Funcom. Plus there's a chance for some beta.
The Secret World is a class-free and level-free MMO, mired in urban myth and shady religious, corporate and political dealings. A personality test could earn you access to beta. Beta!
Players of this rather unique MMO start in one of the three factions, or societies. They are the shadowy puppetmaster Dragons, the greedy and self indulgent Illuminati, or the piously zealous Templars. Each of the groups calls a major city their home.
London, Seoul and New York are the urban sprawls on offer. Right now you can take theto see which society you belong too, and stand a chance of beta access.
The Secret World is being developed for Xbox 360 and PC. See the trailer below.
