The PC games publisher has invested their tax credit from the state of Michigan by opening a new studio, creating around 50 jobs ”very soon”.
Already the new Michigan-based team has been assigned an unannounced RPG project. CEO Brad Wardell has said the state is fasting becoming ”a hub for technology companies”.
”…We think Michigan is well placed to become a hub for technology companies thanks to new programs from the state to make Michigan more competitive to do business in,” stated Wardell.
”We look forward to continuing our strong growth with additional development projects over the next couple of years.”
Stardock has published many PC games over the years like Ironclad Games’ critically acclaimed Sins of a Solar Empire, a real-time 4X space strategy game.
