Publishing giant EA has said that Rock Band pulled in more revenue groupies than any other title last year, this figure undoubtedly included the avalanche of DLC.
The news came from EA's latest financial report, and included such other trivia gems as 100m Spore creatures have been created, there are 300K WAR subscribers, and...
...FIFA 09, Madden NFL 09 and Need for Speed: Undercover have each sold 5 million copies. Isn't corporate sales trivia fun? Don't you just burst at the seams knowing EA plan to release 30, yes thirty, iPhone games this year?
How about 31 titles from the publisher having cleared one million sold copies? No? What if I told you Spore has shifted 2 million copies then? Fine, there's just no pleasing some people.
Last year Wii games accounted for 8 percent of EA's revenue, this year it has bumped up to 14 percent. Now remember these figures as they're sure to come up at the pub quiz this Friday, that's if you can pull yourself away from Rock Band?
