Gran Turimso legend Kazunori Yamauchi of Polyphony Digital, has claimed they'll set a new industry wide standard as long as the devs "actually achieve our goals".

"We always set very high goals and ideal for our games," said Polyphony's Yamauchi-san, speaking with the US PlayStation.Blog.
The Gran Turismo 5 trailer at E3 was "a very small portion of what we’re working on." Continuing, he asserts that "as long as we actually achieve our goals and fulfil our expectations I’m sure it would set the new industry standard."
Them's fighting words Yamauchi-san, particulary when Forza Motorsport 3 comes out this year. See the clip below for the three-and-half minutes interview with the Polyphony boss.
