EVE Online developer CCP, those guys from that basement in Reykjavik, will be spilling the beans on their latest project this August during the GDC event.
Speculation says its either the ‘Walking in Stations’ expansion for EVE, or the new horror themed MMO ‘World of Darkness’ which is based off the White Wolf table-top game. Dun-dun-dun.
”‘Niche’ is not a dirty word,” is the title of developer CCP’s keynote speech at the Game Developers Conference this August.
”CCP grew from relative obscurity in the middle of the Atlantic to a major MMO company. CEO Hilmar Petursson will show what brought them here and share exclusive views into the future, including an announcement on its latest project, suggesting that the opportunity for the game industry to reinvent itself is now.”
They’re from that land of ice floating in the sea, no not Northrend, the other one - Iceland. GDC Europe starts on August 17th and ends on the 19th in Cologne, Germany, if they haven’t already banned all videogames by then.
