Infinity Ward has confirmed that 50 Cent is in fact "one of quite a few" casual cameos in the upcoming game, providing multiplayer and Spec Ops squad voices.
Meanwhile the Hardened Edition for Modern Warfare 2 is packing an "equivalent DLC value" of 1200 Microsoft Points, suggesting that Call of Duty Classic will fetch that on XBLA.
"He is one of quite a few casual cameos in the game, none of which I can name at this point," said Robert Bowling, referring to 50 Cent and pics of him with Good Charlotte at Infinity Ward.
"Benji and Joel of Good Charlotte NOT being one of them. They're just good friends with Curtis and came along with him when he was here recently to check out his voice in the game."
Play.com lists the Hardened Edition as including the "Equivalent DLC value 1200 MS points (£9.99)", which is the bundled "original Call Of Duty experience in HD."
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is being released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this November 11th in Europe. 50 Cent and other 'guest cameos' will be barking things like "Reloading," "Watch your fire," "I'm down, get me up!" and "Tango Down!" said Bowling. Psyched?
