LEGO developer Traveller’s Tales has been a great success for Time Warner, and they’re so happy with returns they’ll ”incrementally” buy more.
Warner’s CFO told investors that they won’t be snapping up teams like crazy but instead move carefully to expand their videogames turf. Eidos could be the next easy target.
”The games area is an area that intrigues us,” said Warner Chief Financial Officer John Martin.
”That said, I don’t see anything right now of any scale that we’re going to go out and acquire. I think it’s going to be done incrementally.”
Eidos has been circling acquisition claims for a while now with Warner already owning a 20% stake in the company. Could the home of Lara and Number 47 be next on the shopping list?
