Californian developer Crystal Dynamics has been troubled this year with scores of layoffs, with many fearing they weren’t long for the videogame’s world.
A job listing injects some much needed hope for fans, the Crystal Dynamics studio is looking for a ‘Senior Art Director’ to get cracking on ”one of the most prestigious AAA franchises”.
This franchise IP could be an indication they will continue development on Tomb Raider, which has become their speciality these past years after taking over the reins and helping Lady Croft reach some of her past heights of prominence.
”Crystal Dynamics has a rare opening for a Senior Art Director on one of the most prestigious AAA franchises in the industry,” reads the job description.
Tomb Raider: Underworld felt short of expectations when it released, with Eidos and parent company Square Enix likely now pulling strings to get the franchise reinvented - Lara is not the only treasure hunter on the block anymore.
