Microsoft has some egg on its face, after Xbox Live came back from its whole day of maintenance downtime things have been… turbulent for the service.
You can expect to ”experience difficulties” when using the Xbox Live Marketplace generally ”and/or making purchases” at the moment. Major Nelson says engineers are ”actively engaged”.
”Users may experience difficulties when attempting to use Marketplace and/or making purchases,” warned the Xbox status webpage, which also seems to be experiencing trouble.
”We are aware of the problem and working to resolve the technical issues. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.”
Meanwhile, Major Nelson adds: ”I want to let you know that the Live engineers are actively engaged and working on getting this resolved as soon as possible.” It seems the swathe of troubles are centered on the Marketplace itself, meaning multiplayer should remain unaffected.
