EA have announced an expansion to the card based real-time strategy game. The Renegade Edition will add sixty ”new units and buildings” to the mayhem.
It helps spice up a decks ”strategical possibilities” and combat itself; it’s slated to be available this August. BattleForge is a free-to-play game, with purchasable collectible cards.
”The Renegade Edition expands the BattleForge card set with legendary units and monumental buildings from the Southern Wastes region of Nyn,” reads the official site blurb.
”The main specialty of the Renegades is versatility and independence which reflects in their dual orb nature. They are not governed by one power alone but are able to tap into a second power to unlock additional special abilities or be generally more flexible in the way they fit into your deck.”
Are card based battles your thing? It’s free to try the game after EA decided to ditch the retail model for BattleForge, now buying it at the shops nets gamers 3000 points to spend on new cards.
