Phil Spencer, VP of Microsoft Game Studios, has said that Lionhead Studios’ Fable will most likely be getting Natal involved in its ”future iterations” somewhere.
Fable 2 starts its episodic release soon, whereby the full game has been broken up into smaller pieces. Fable 3 has been revealed and talked on more by boss Peter Molyneux at TGS.
”You know, Lionhead’s been a real innovation studio for us,” Spencer told Joystiq.
”We have the release of Fable 2 episodic this week, where they’re taking Fable 2 and breaking it up into chunks, allowing people to buy the content at their pace.”
”Fable 2, I thought, was a great release, with the orbs they added with Live, adding new functionality to the franchise. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if Natal found its way into future iterations of Fable,” he continued.
The next Fable involves the player ousting the current ruler of Albion and then taking their place as King or Queen. All matters of state will be brought before the hero as well as calling them to adventure and battle. Could Fable III have some Natal of its own?
