Speaking with Famitsu magazine, Capcom’s Keiji Inafune drops talk of sequels to zombie chopper Dead Rising and icy cold Lost Planet.
More importantly he reveals they’ve got their multiplatform thinking caps on. Lost Planet has already touched PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 but Dead Rising hasn’t shuffled over from Xbox 360.
Okay so Dead Rising has appeared on the Nintendo Wii but fans don’t really consider that much of a port, more like a drunken college experiment with a roommate that shall never be spoken of - ever.
”We’re finally putting out new Dead Rising and Lost Planet games! As a main principle we’re thinking about multi-platform, and expanding upon both slightly from the Xbox 360 versions,” Inafune tells Famitsu, reports Kotaku.
